Client Profile
Eleven Services LLC, in collaboration with the City of Columbia Parks & Recreation and United Way of the Midlands hosted Arts Against Violence, a three-day cultural arts event in Columbia, SC, aimed at addressing youth violence through creative expression during National Youth Violence Prevention Week. The event featured workshops, performances, and interactive activities to empower young people, foster resilience, and provide a safe space for self-expression.
The Challenge
The client sought to raise awareness of youth violence prevention through the arts while ensuring broad community participation, media coverage, and cohesive messaging across multiple collaborating organizations. The initiative required translating a multi-partner vision into a cohesive brand identity, generating pre-event publicity, and executing digital and on-site communications to engage youth, families, educators, and the broader community.
Strategic Leadership & Approach
We developed and executed an integrated communications strategy that included brand messaging, media outreach, and social media campaigns to build awareness and drive participation. Efforts focused on amplifying the transformative role of the arts in addressing youth violence, highlighting each partner’s contributions, and fostering a sense of community ownership. Media relations efforts emphasized storytelling that connected audiences with the event’s workshops, performances, and youth-led initiatives.
