Our Founder
Chelsea Bennett
Founder | Chief Executive Officer
As a respected communications strategist and first-generation entrepreneur, Chelsea Bennett has a career defined by purpose and results. She is the founder and CEO of Ivey Palmer PR, a firm that specializes in crisis communications, brand elevation, and community engagement.
Drawing on over 15 years of experience, she previously served in leadership roles, including Deputy Director of Communications for Richland County, where she spearheaded the successful renewal of the $1B Transportation Penny Program, and as the first Public Information Officer for the City of Columbia Attorney’s Office, where she was responsible for high-profile criminal and civil PR matters. Her passion for helping organizations navigate complexity also led her to develop 'Navigating the Crisis™', a dedicated resource for managing critical communications.
Chelsea blends this deep institutional knowledge with modern strategy, helping mission-driven brands and public agencies drive meaningful impact. She is an active community leader, serving on the Board of Directors for Literacy SC and as the Midlands Regional Director for the South Carolina Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA). She holds a Master’s in Strategic Communication & Public Relations from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Limestone University.
